FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before booking or arriving: self check-in, parking, terraces and how to get around from Via Alcide De Gasperi 45.
Check-in and check-out
How does self check-in work?
On arrival day you receive a personal code by WhatsApp and email for the main door and for the smart lock of your suite. No key handover or appointment needed: you let yourself in at any time within the check-in window. We remain reachable by phone if you need help.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 13:00 to 22:00; check-out by 11:00. Arrivals after 22:00 are possible on request if you let us know in advance: self check-in also works at night.
Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
Yes: on request we offer a free internal luggage room on your arrival and departure days. Message us the day before to arrange it.
Which documents do I need at check-in?
By Italian law we must register every guest with the police (Alloggiati Web portal). Before arrival we therefore ask for a valid ID document for each guest, including minors, via a secure link or WhatsApp.
Parking and getting here
Is there parking? How much does it cost?
The building has no on-site garage. There are, however, partner paid garages 200–400 metres away (Piazza Municipio / Via De Gasperi area), at an indicative rate of €25–30 per 24 hours. Message us in advance and we will share directions and the discounted rate.
Is the area a restricted traffic zone (ZTL)? Can I drive to the B&B?
Via Alcide De Gasperi is open to traffic and outside the ZTL, so you can drive up to the building to unload luggage. Do watch out for the old town and Via Marina restricted zones at certain hours: set your GPS to the exact address, Via Alcide De Gasperi 45.
How do I get here from Capodichino airport?
The airport is about 7 km away. The easiest option is the Alibus shuttle (about €5, every 20 minutes): get off at the Porto/Immacolatella stop and you are 400 metres from the B&B. By taxi, ask for the fixed airport–port fare, indicatively €21–25, before setting off.
How do I get here from Napoli Centrale railway station?
From Napoli Centrale take metro Line 1 from Garibaldi towards Piscinola and get off at Municipio (3 stops, about 8 minutes): from there the B&B is a 300-metre walk. By taxi the ride is about 2.5 km.
I arrive by cruise ship: how far is the terminal?
The Stazione Marittima cruise terminal is 500 metres away: a 7-minute walk. We are probably the most convenient B&B in Naples for cruise passengers.
Suites and amenities
Is breakfast included?
No, breakfast is not included. Each suite, however, has an espresso machine, kettle and minibar fridge, and the cafés of the Municipio area are steps away: cornetto and Neapolitan coffee from a few euros, or a classic breakfast inside Galleria Umberto I, 650 metres away.
Do the suites have outdoor space?
Yes, all three suites have a private terrace furnished with a table and sun loungers: you can sunbathe, read or end the day with an open-air aperitivo.
Is there Wi-Fi? Is it good enough for remote work?
Yes, free fibre Wi-Fi in every suite, suitable for video calls and streaming. Each suite also has a desk or work surface.
Do the suites have air conditioning?
Yes, all three suites have individually controlled air conditioning, for both cooling and heating.

Nearby and distances
How far is Maschio Angioino?
Maschio Angioino (Castel Nuovo) is 400 metres away: a flat, 5-minute walk. It is the monument our B&B is named after.
How far is the port? Is this a good base for Capri?
Molo Beverello, where hydrofoils leave for Capri, Ischia and Procida, is 350 metres away: a 5-minute walk even with luggage. It is why many guests choose us — you can catch the first morning crossing without a taxi.
Booking and payments
How do I pay the city tax?
The City of Naples tourist tax is not included in the rate and is settled separately, at the current municipal rate for B&Bs (a few euros per person per night; minors are exempt where applicable). We confirm the exact amount with your booking confirmation.
What is the cancellation policy?
It depends on the rate you choose: the flexible rate can be cancelled free of charge until a few days before arrival, while the non-refundable rate is cheaper but cannot be cancelled. The exact terms are shown in the booking engine before you confirm.
Is it better to book on the official website?
Yes: booking through our official booking engine always gives you the best available rate, with no intermediary fees, and you deal directly with us for any request.
